What is "satna"

Satna is a city in the Satna District (सतना) of the Indian state of Madhya Pradesh, which shares a border with neighbouring Uttar Pradesh. The city is a municipal corporation within the district, and the seat of its administrative headquarters.

Satna Lok Sabha constituency is one of the 29 Lok Sabha constituencies in Madhya Pradesh state in central India. This constituency presently covers the entire Satna district of the state.
