Sathya (1988 film)

Sathya is a 1988 Indian Tamil action film directed by Suresh Krissna and produced by Kamal Haasan starring Kamal Haasan himself along with Amala. The film was remake from the 1985 Hindi film Arjun. The film is the debut directional venture for Suresh Krishna. The film completed a 150-day run at the box office. The cinematography and editing were handled by S. M. Anwar and N. R. Kittu respectively.

Sathya is an Indian film actor, who has worked in Tamil language films. Brother of actor Arya, he first began filming for Kadhal 2 Kalyanam in 2008, though the film remains unreleased. After débuting in Puthagam (2013), he made a breakthrough in Jeeva Shankar's romantic drama film Amara Kaaviyam (2014).

The movie is produced by Feros Saheed under the banner Shehnas Movie Creations. Diphan's previous direction venture was Dolphins in 2014, A. K. Sajan is the script writer of Mammootty starer Puthiya Niyamam in 2016 which was also a hit.
