Saracinesco
Saracinesco is a comune (municipality) in the Metropolitan City of Rome in the Italian region Lazio, located about northeast of Rome. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 169 and an area of .
Saracinesco borders the following municipalities: Anticoli Corrado, Cerreto Laziale, Mandela, Rocca Canterano, Sambuci, Vicovaro. It is one of the most picturesque villages in the province and lies on top of one of the highest mountains in the Aniene river valley.
It has been described as situated "in a most singular and inaccessible position" and is "remarkable for the ancient costumes and customs of its inhabitants."
