What is "sanhaja"

The Sanhaja (also Zenaga, Veledi Sanhája, Znaga, Sanhája, Sanhâdja, Senhaja; ; , Ṣanhājah) were once one of the largest Berber tribal confederations of the Maghreb, along with the Zanata and Masmuda. Many tribes in Berber areas bore and still carry this ethnonym, especially in its Berber form.
