San Isidro (canton)

San Isidro is the sixth canton in the province of Heredia in Costa Rica. The canton covers an area of 26.96 km², and has a population of 17,037. The capital city of the canton is also called San Isidro.

The canton is in the highlands northeast of the provincial capital city of Heredia. The Río Pará Blanca forms its far northeastern border.

The canton of San Isidro is subdivided into 4 distritos (districts).
