Samsjøen (Sør-Trøndelag)

Samsjøen is a lake on the border of the municipalities of Midtre Gauldal and Melhus in Sør-Trøndelag county, Norway. Most of the lake lies in Midtre Gauldal, about north of the village of Singsås. The lake has a dam at the northwest end, which is used for hydroelectric power production. The water flows out of the lake and into the Lundesokna river which flows into the Gaula River.

Samsjøen (Ringerike)

Samsjøen is a lake in the municipalities of Ringerike in Buskerud county and Jevnaker in Oppland county, Norway. Samsjøen receives inflow from the Haugerud river (Haugerudelva) which enters the lake from the northwest. Somma is the largest of the tributaries formed at the end of Samsjøen. Somma starts from the south end of Samsjøen and flows southwest as it travels through the valley of Somdalen. The watershed drains to the valley of Ådal and is part of Begna watershed.
