Wikipedia Samgyetang Samgyetang means ginseng ( kor. insam) - chicken (kor. gye) - soup (kor. tang). It consists primarily of a whole young chicken ( poussin) - filled with garlic and rice -, scallion and spices, among them jujube and Korean ginseng.
