Ruskova

Ruskova is a true Russian vodka that is distilled in the region of Nizhniy Novgorod. Ruskova is a product manufactured under Anson Imports and is owned by Russian entrepreneur Oleg Lazanovitch. It was Lazanovitch's vision to bring to America a brand of vodka that is truly of Russian origin and not merely American vodka slapped with a Russian looking label.

The story began in 2005 when Lazanovitch established Anson Imports with the goal of developing a true Russian vodka using his father's recipe, which has been passed down from generation to generation. During the developmental process, Lazanovitch ventured from one Russian distillery to another in hopes of producing the perfect vodka. It was on his trip to the 9th distillery, the one in Nizhniy Novgorod, that he came up with the end product that he was looking for. This is the vodka that would become Ruskova.

Lazanovitch's next goal was to bring the Ruskova brand to America, the first shipment of Ruskova was imported to Florida and Georgia and sales quickly took off. Today, the brand is available in 36 states. Ruskova has won the Double gold medal awarded by San Francisco International Spirit competition. As well as winning many other prestigious awards.

Lazanovitch has recently announced that Ruskova has gone through a complete label modification and repackaging. The brands new look is more in tune with the new modern Russia. However, buyers will continue to enjoy the same beverage and at the same competitive price.

The manufacturer has plans to start selling this vodka in South America, but currently operates throughout the United States and Alaska.
