Recheat \Re*cheat"\ (r[-e]*ch[=e]t"), n. [F. requ[^e]t['e], fr. requ[^e]ter to hunt anew. See Request.] (Sporting) A strain given on the horn to call back the hounds when they have lost track of the game.
