In serial fiction, to reboot means to discard all continuity in an established series in order to recreate its characters, timeline and backstory from the beginning. The term is used with respect to various different forms of fictional media such as comic books, television series, video games, and films among others.

ReBoot (video game)

ReBoot is a 1998 video game developed by Electronic Arts (EA) and published by EA and Mainframe Entertainment for the PlayStation video game console. It is based on the television show of the same name.

In computing, rebooting is the process by which a running computer system is restarted, either intentionally or unintentionally. Reboots can be either cold (alternatively known as hard) where the power to the system is physically turned off and back on again, causing an initial boot of the machine, or warm (alternatively known as soft) where the system restarts without the need to interrupt the power. The term restart is used to refer to a reboot when the operating system closes all programs and finalizes all pending input and output operations before initiating a soft reboot.

Reboot is a Croatian magazine covering all things related to video gaming culture. Most of the team behind the magazine were also working on other (now former) Croatian video game magazines such as PSX, Hacker, GamePlay and Next Level. The design of the magazine is similar to its predecessors Next Level and Gameplay. The first issue came out on 4 August 2012. It is published on monthly basis, priced at 25 kunas. The magazine features wide range of gaming-related news, interviews, specials, previews, reviews and rubrics.

The magazine is broken into six sections: Reporter, Hype, Feature, Reviews, Tech and Rewind. In Reporter one can find reports about the latest gaming conventions such as E3, Gamescom, PAX, ... Reboot (Wonder Girls album)

Reboot (stylized as REBOOT) is the third studio album by South Korean girl group Wonder Girls. It was released on August 3, 2015 through JYP Entertainment. The Wonder Girls were more involved in the composition of this album, with each member having some writing and/or production credits on each song. This is the first album in years to feature member Sunmi and the first since the departure of members Sunye and Sohee. The lead single, 80's inspired "I Feel You" was a number one hit, released on August 2, 2015.

The album musically conveys a 1980s-inspired style, incorporating genres including synthpop, hip hop, pop rock and dance-pop. It was well received by music critics, who praised its 1980s-inspired theme as unique for a K-pop artist and compared its music to that of Madonna.
