Qu is a computer programming language with an open-source interpreter written in C by Marc Krisnanto. It is comparable to Python, Ruby, Perl and many others.
The language is semi-dynamic, and optionally strongly typed, with full object orientation. All variables in the language are first class objects.
The design and implementation focuses on compactness and speed, using the GNU Lightning Just In Time compiler (JIT).

The Qu form of poetry is a type of Classical Chinese poetry form, consisting of words written in one of a number of certain, set tone patterns, based upon the tunes of various songs. Thus Qu poems are lyrics with lines of varying longer and shorter lengths, set according to the certain and specific, fixed patterns of rhyme and tone of conventional musical pieces upon which they are based and after which these matched variations in lyrics (or individual Qu poems) generally take their name. The fixed-tone type of verse such as the Qu and the ci together with the shi and fu forms of poetry comprise the three main forms of Classical Chinese poetry.
QU is the third studio album by the American rock band Sherwood, released digitally and through Myspace Records to music stores on October 13, 2009. The album was released early in electronic format to some of those who pre-ordered due to shipping difficulties. The album was first announced on July 14, 2009. Along with this, the band posted three songs on their MySpace page that appear on the CD. QU was produced, engineered, and mixed by Brad Wood at Seagrass Studios in Valley Village, CA.
