Pygopod

Pygopod \Py"go*pod\, n. [Gr. pygh` rump + -pod.]

  1. (Zo["o]l.) One of the Pygopodes.

  2. (Zo["o]l.) Any species of serpentiform lizards of the family Pygopodid[ae], which have rudimentary hind legs near the anal cleft, but lack fore legs.
