What is "podapadu"

Podapadu is the small village in Pedakurapadu mandal in Guntur district.It is situated 30 kilometers away from Guntur city.95% of the people in Podapadu are farmers.This village is the hub connecting Pedakurapadu, Patibandla and Guntur.

The population of Podapadu is around 1000 in which 40% of the people are Mala/Madiga and 30% are Muslims and 20% are Kummari and rest of the people are from Reddy community.

Branch canal of Nagarjun Sagar right canal passes through Podapadu which is the heart of agriculture in Podapadu.
