Planogamete \Plan"o*ga*mete`\, n. [Gr. ? wandering + E. gamete.] (Bot.) One of the motile ciliated gametes, or zo["o]gametes, found in isogamous plants, as many green alg[ae] (Chlorophyce[ae]).
