NeuroTouch

NeuroTouch is a virtual reality medical simulation platform developed by the National Research Council of Canada. Officially introduced at the XIV World Conference of Neurological Surgery in 2009, NeuroTouch is a pan-Canadian initiative led by Dr. Robert DiRaddo.

The first real-world implementation of NeuroTouch for brain surgery simulation and rehearsal before the successful removal of a brain tumour was done in Halifax in August 2009 by Dr. David Clarke and Dr. Ryan D’Arcy.

NeuroTouch is now under exclusive license to CAE Inc., a Canadian public company, under the name NeuroVR. CAE Healthcare announced NeuroVR in December 2015.
