Mucocele \Mu"co*cele\, n. [Mucus + Gr. kh`lh tumor.] (Med.) An enlargement or protrusion of the mucous membrane of the lachrymal passages, or dropsy of the lachrymal sac, dependent upon catarrhal inflammation of the latter.
