Kareem Dennis (born 23 May 1986), better known by his stage name Lowkey, is an English rapper, and political activist of Iraqi descent. He first became known through a series of mixtapes he released before he was 18, before taking a hiatus from the music business. He would return in 2008 with wider music coverage, featured on BBC Radio and appearing at various festivals and concerts including the Electric Proms, Glastonbury, T In The Park and Oxegen in the buildup to his first solo album Dear Listener, as well as collaborating with other famous English musicians to form a supergroup. He released his second solo album Soundtrack to the Struggle independently on 16 October 2011. He is known for his controversial lyricism on real life issues.

Lowkey (American rapper)

Lowkey (born Cory Harris on July 20, 1981) is a rapper and producer from Hattiesburg, Mississippi, USA. He is signed to Afroman's Hungry Hustler Records, as well as running his own label, Incredible Sounds. Lowkey was featured on the album The Hungry Hustlerz: Starvation Is Motivation, and also produced songs for Afroman on " Afroholic... The Even Better Times". His debut album, My Thoughts, was released in late 2006 and is available through his website. The album contained guest appearances by labelmate Afroman as well as appearances and mixing and scratching from Mr. Mixx of 2 Live Crew fame. He is currently touring, both with Afroman and by himself, and working on his second album. He was also nominated for Rapper of the Year at the first annual Get Em Magazine awards.
