Looze
Looze is a commune in the Yonne department in Burgundy in north-central France.

Looze were book and newspaper printers, publishers, and sellers in Zierikzee, located at the Melkmart 2 (corner Schuithaven).
The firm was started in the first half of the 19th century by P. Looze, who founded (1844), printed and published the Zierikzeesche Nieuwsbode, to be succeeded by M.J. Looze. In 1869 the print operation, including the Zierikzeesche Nieuwsbode merged into Ochtman, later known as Lakenman en Ochtman, recently shortened to LNO.
