The Löcknitz is a river in northern Germany ( Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, Brandenburg and a few kilometres in Lower Saxony). It is a right tributary of the Elbe and its total length is . The Löcknitz originates south of Parchim, and flows through Karstädt, Lenzen, and Dömitz. The Löcknitz joins the Elbe in Wehningen, a few km downstream from Dömitz.
