Locaid is a Location-as-a-Service (LaaS) company based in San Francisco, California, that provides a gateway for mobile location data and operates a secure, privacy-protected platform that aggregates the location of wireless providers’ subscribers for mobile developer use.

Locaid is subscriber-approved to provide real-time location for more than 350 million smartphones, feature phones, tablets and mobile devices on all the Tier 1 wireless networks in the U.S., Canada and Mexico, including América Móvil, AT&T, Rogers, Sprint Nextel, T-Mobile and Verizon Wireless, Locaid’s privacy-protected platform strictly requires mobile subscribers to opt-in to receive location-based services in order to ensure user compliance.
