LMMS

LMMS (formerly Linux MultiMedia Studio) is a digital audio workstation. Music can be produced by synthesizing sounds, arranging samples, playing on a MIDI keyboard, and combining the features of trackers, sequencers, and synthesizers. It supports Linux Audio Developer's Simple Plugin API ( LADSPA), SoundFont (SF2) files, and Virtual Studio Technology (VST) plugins. It is free software released under the GNU General Public License, version 2 (GPLv2).
