Koshta
The Koshta are a Hindu caste found in the Indian states of Uttar Pradesh and Bihar. They are also known as Kesri, which is also used as a surname.
In Madhya Pradesh, Koshta and Panika castes are categorized as Scheduled castes in some districts and as OBC in other than these districts.
