Komakkambedu
Komakkambedu is a small village located 9 miles north of Thiruninravur. Most of the village is occupied by Naidu and Vanniyar caste. This village is right now facing brain drain. Most of the youngsters have either relocated to the cities or outside India. Farming is occupation for most of the villagers.
Though a rural village, it contains some of the most educated bright minds of the state. Many of them are in the US.
