Kōke

A during the Tokugawa Shogunate (or Edo period) in Japan generally referred to the position of the "Master of Ceremonies," held by certain -less samurai ranking below a daimyō. Historically, or in a more general context, the term may refer to a family of old lineage and distinction.

Perhaps the most famous Master of Ceremonies in history was Kira Yoshinaka aka , the real-life model of the villain avenged in the tale of the Forty-seven Ronin of Akō.

Sergio Contreras Pardo (born 27 April 1983), known as Koke, is a Spanish professional footballer who plays for Greek club Aris F.C. as a forward.

In a much-travelled career, he represented clubs in Spain, France, Portugal, Greece, the United States, Azerbaijan, Germany, Bolivia and India.

Koke (footballer, born 1992)

Jorge Resurrección Merodio (born 8 January 1992), known as Koke , is a Spanish professional footballer who plays for Atlético Madrid and the Spanish national team as a midfielder.

He spent most of his career with Atlético Madrid since making his debut with the first team in 2009, playing over 250 official games and winning five honours, including the 2014 national championship and the 2012 Europa League.

Koke won the 2013 European Championship with the Spanish under-21 team. He also made his debut for the full side that year, and represented the country at the 2014 World Cup and Euro 2016.
