Joachim (also Joachin and Joaquin) is a genetically engineered character in the fictional Star Trek universe who appears as one of Khan Noonien Singh's henchmen in the Star Trek episode " Space Seed" and the film Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan, in which he is played by Mark Tobin and Judson Scott, respectively.

The official Star Trek site maintained by Paramount Pictures describes Joachim as a "genetically superior blonde-haired young man". The script for Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan describes Joachim as "the largest and brightest of Khan's group".

The story of Joachim and Anne first appears in the apocryphal Gospel of James. Joachim and Anne are not mentioned in the Bible. His feast day is July 26.

Archbishop Joachim of Nizhny Novgorod (born Ivan Ioakimovich Levitsky (, (30 March 1853 - c. 1921), was a Russian Orthodox bishop and religious writer allegedly martyred by local Bolsheviks by being crucified upside down on the royal doors of the iconostasis in St. Vladimir's Cathedral in Sevastopol. The exact date of his death is unclear, with dates ranging from 1918 to 1920 or even to "not later than April 1921" in various sources, and he is sometimes said merely to have "died at the hands of unknown bandits".
