Japanese plum

Japanese plum or correctly Japanese Medlar are the edible fruits of the Loquat, an evergreen shrub. The fruits have yellow skin with light yellow flesh resembling in shape and size similar to plums. However not plums at all, the medlars have larger two or more brown seeds, unlike the plum that has just one seed, smaller in size about that of half.
