What is "igfxtray.exe"

igfxtray.exe is a Windows .exe file from Intel. Its location can be found in the System32 folder (a directory in the Windows operating system containing system executables and libraries).

The Graphics Accelerator Helper Module by Intel is carried out along with Windows drivers and/or Nvidia graphics cards. It is installed as part of their Graphics Media Accelerator Driver. Its function is used for quick access to the control panel for graphics based upon the Intel chipsets. These chipsets are mostly included on motherboards.

The startup entry is started automatically by RunServices, RunOnce, Run, or RunServicesOnce entry from the registry.
