Hiro (film)

Hiro is a short film written and directed by Matthew Swanson. It premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival, won Best Short Film at the SXSW Film Festival, and was the first Canadian film to win the "Spirit of Slamdance" Audience Award at the Slamdance Film Festival in Park City, Utah. It was also nominated for a Genie Award for Best Live Action Short Drama.

Hiro (photographer)

Yasuhiro Wakabayashi, professionally known as Hiro, is an American commercial photographer. He was born in Shanghai in 1930 to Japanese parents. A “photographer’s photographer,” Hiro has shown a very distinctive vision, and his work in fashion and still life from the mid-1960s onward has spawned many imitators and remains a lasting influence today.

Hiro (born October 11, 1985) is a Japanese music producer, associated with production company Digz, inc.. He began producing songs in 2007, beginning with dance group PaniCrew's single " Growing & Leaning." His most successful song is currently Kumi Koda's " Taboo," which reached #1 on Oricon's single charts in 2008. Other high-profile songs of Hiros include Kumi Koda's "Universe" and "Your Love," Namie Amuro's " My Love," BoA's "Best Friend" and Koichi Domoto of KinKi Kids' "Lose Control" (all appearing on albums reaching #1 on Oricon charts).

Hiro (TV channel)

Hiro was an Italian television channel, owned by television network Mediaset. Aimed to a children and teens viewership, was launched in 2008 as part of Mediaset Premium pay television network. The channel was devoted to broadcasting anime programming. The last announcer of the channel was Italian voice actor Claudio Moneta.

Since August 1, 2011 to March 31, 2013 the channel was transmitted only on line by Premium Net TV, with the service on demand. Hiro was later shut down.
