Head Games

Head Games is the third studio album by British- American rock band Foreigner, released in 1979. It charted at #5 on the Billboard 200 chart, and has sold over five million copies in the US alone. The album’s infamous cover depicts a seemingly upset young woman (portrayed by actress Lisanne Falk) in a men's restroom. The title track and " Dirty White Boy" were the album's big hits, peaking at #14 and #12, respectively. This was the album in which Rick Wills replaced Ed Gagliardi as bassist. It was the band's only album produced by Roy Thomas Baker, best known for producing Queen's classic albums. This would be the last album with Ian McDonald, who would leave the band after the recording.

Head Games (Doctor Who)

Head Games is an original novel written by Steve Lyons and based on the long-running British science fiction television series Doctor Who. It features the Seventh Doctor, Bernice, Chris, Roz, Mel and Ace.

Head Games is a sequel to Lyons' earlier New Adventure Conundrum, and again features the Land of Fiction first seen the 1968 serial The Mind Robber.

Head Games continues a theme running through the New Adventures starting from Timewyrm: Revelation in which the Doctor becomes Time's Champion, and that previous incarnations still in some sense exist within his mind. This novel suggests that the Seventh Doctor was somehow able to terminate the life of his previous incarnation on Lakertya (in the story Time and the Rani) in order to become Time's Champion. This in turn caused the Sixth Doctor to eventually turn into the Valeyard — the evil version of the Doctor seen in the serial The Trial of a Time Lord.

Head Games (song)

"Head Games" is the title-cut and second single taken from the band Foreigner's third release. It was written by Lou Gramm and Mick Jones, and released primarily in the U.S. in October 1979 while at the same time, "Love On The Telephone" was being released elsewhere. The song's b-side, "Do What You Like" uses multi-layered harmony vocals in the lines of their earlier single, " Cold as Ice." The single reached number 14 on the charts of both the U.S. and Canada.

Head Games (game show)

Head Games was a science themed game show, hosted by Greg Proops and produced by Whoopi Goldberg. It aired on the Science Channel. The show relied heavily on science experiments and demonstrations to provide a basis for the trivia questions that the contestants must answer. Goldberg described the gameplay as a "mashup" of many different game shows. Describing herself a "geek" and a curious person, Goldberg created Head Games to show people that there's "all kinds of science", not just the popular stereotype of laboratory "science with beakers".

The show aired regularly on Science Channel at 9:00 p.m. eastern on Saturday evenings from October through December 2009. Airings continued in reruns for several months past that time, before the show completely disappeared from the network's schedule in Spring 2010. As of February 2011, there have been no announcements by Science Channel, either online or on-air, whether the game show is set to return for a second season.
