Hadenella

Hadenella is a genus of moths of the Noctuidae family. It contains only one species, Hadenella pergentilis, which is found in North America, where it has been recorded from the Pacific Northwest and Alberta south at least to Utah and Colorado in the Rocky Mountains and southern California along the Pacific Coast. The habitat consists of sage steppes.

The length of the forewings is 12-14 mm. The forewings are light orange-brown and grey, marked with a pale-filled oval orbicular spot and grey-filled reniform spot. The hindwings are warm tan, slightly darker towards the margin. Adults are on wing from mid-April to mid-September.
