What is "hadash"

Hadash (, lit. New), an acronym for HaHazit HaDemokratit LeShalom uLeShivion (, lit. The Democratic Front for Peace and Equality); , al-Jabhah ad-Dimuqrāṭiyyah lis-Salām wa'l-Musāwah) is a radical left-wing political coalition in Israel formed by the Israeli Communist Party and other leftist groups.

It currently has five members, as part of the Joint List, in the 120-seat Knesset.
