Wikipedia Glossus (genus) Glossus is a genus of mostly extinct marine bivalve molluscs in the family Glossidae. Only the Oxheart's Clam, G. humanus, is still extant, living in flat, muddy regions deep off the North Atlantic coastline of Europe.
