Geetha (actress)

Geetha (Kannada: ಗೀತಾ; born 13 April 1962) is an Indian actress who has performed in Malayalam, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Hindi films. She debuted in the Tamil language film Bairavi (as Rajinikanth's sister) directed by the veteran Director M Baskar of Oscar Movies. Since then she has acted in over 200 films in all major South Indian languages, and in a few Hindi films.

Geetha (film)

Geetha is a 1981 Indian Kannada language romance drama film directed by and starring Shankar Nag and Akshata Rao in the lead roles. The supporting cast features K. S. Ashwath, Ramesh Bhat and Gayathri. Ilayaraaja composed the soundtrack and the background score for the film that and was declared a blockbuster musical hit. The track "Santhoshakke" from the film became widely popular in Karnataka and is still performed for in concerts and other events.
