What is "gambara"

Gambara is a town and comune in the province of Brescia, in Lombardy. Bordering communes are Asola (MN), Fiesse, Gottolengo, Isorella, Ostiano (CR), Pralboino, Remedello and Volongo (CR).

Gambara is a short story by Honoré de Balzac, first published in 1837 in the Revue et gazette musicale de Paris at the request of its editor Maurice Schlesinger.

Gambara is a station on Line 1 of Milan Metro in Milan, Italy. The station is underground and is located on Piazza Veronica Gambara.
