Galåbodarna
Galåbodarna - East and West - are mountain pastures near the Galån creek in the southern part of Oviksfjällen in Jämtland, Sweden. The mountain pastures belongs to farmers in Oviken and Myssjö, and are located next to the road between Börtnan and Arådalen. The road turns there as well of to the Arådalen and Glen. The summer pastures were probably founded in the 1700s and was used for cattle-raising to the mid-1970s. The surrounding area is mainly spruce and bogs. In 2004 there were built log cabins for tourists. Already in the 1960s and 1970s there were built several houses and cabins near the old pasture.
