Gaja

Gaja (a - Sanskrit word for elephant) is one of the significant animals finding references in Hindu scriptures and Buddhist and Jain texts. In general, a gaja personifies a number of positive attributes, including abundance, fertility and richness; boldness and strength; and wisdom and royalty. In European Portuguese, it means "physically attractive female"; its origin in the Portuguese language can be related to a personification of fertility, as mentioned.

Gaja (film)

Gaja is a 2008 Indian Kannada-language film directed by K. Madesha and produced by Srinivasa Murthy and Suresh Gowda. The film stars Darshan, Navya Nair and Devaraj. Producers of the film claimed that the film is based on a story by novelist P. Ramachandra Rao(Chandu). The film is a remake of the 2005 Telugu film Bhadra which was also remade in 2006 in Tamil as Saravana . The movie is also dubbed into Hindi as Gajja Thakur.

Gaja is an Italian wine producer from the Piemonte region in the district of Langhe, chiefly producing a number of Barbaresco and Barolo wines, and later diversified into Brunello and "Super-Tuscan" production. Its current owner and president Angelo Gaja is credited with developing techniques that have revolutionised winemaking in Italy, and terms such as "the undisputed king of Barbaresco", and "the man who dragged Piedmont into the modern world" have been applied to him, and whose Barbaresco wine is considered a status symbol on a par with Château Lafite-Rothschild or Krug.
