Her self-titled debut album was released in 2001; it was produced by Vehnee Saturno, who also wrote eight of the album's ten songs. Another of the songs was a rendition of Bryan Adams's " Please Forgive Me". Her second album, In the Interim, was released in 2004.

Gabriela is a Brazilian telenovela created by Jorge Amado (written by Walcyr Carrasco) and starring Juliana Paes and Humberto Martins. It premiered on June 18, 2012 on Rede Globo at 11pm timeslot.

It has Juliana Paes, Humberto Martins, Antônio Fagundes, José Wilker, Mateus Solano, Chico Diaz, Leona Cavalli, Vanessa Giácomo, Marcelo Serrado, Maitê Proença, Erik Marmo, Ivete Sangalo and Laura Cardoso in the leading roles.

Gabriela is a 1950 West German musical drama film directed by Géza von Cziffra and starring Zarah Leander, Carl Raddatz and Vera Molnar. It was Leander's comeback film after a seven-year absence from filmmaking . In 1943 when the Nazi leadership had demanded she take German citizenship, she had broken her contract with UFA and returned to her native Sweden. In the immediate post-war era she was banned from appearing in German films because of her previous association with the Nazi hierarchy. From 1949 this was relaxed, and she was able to make films once more.

It was the third highest-grossing film at the West German box office in 1950.
