Usage examples of "fulcrums".

Only with the emergence of a strong and differentiated ego (which occurs from the third to the fifth fulcrums, culminating in formop, or rational perspectivism)only with the emergence of the mature ego does egocentrism die down!

Each of these fulcrums (and I generally outline nine or ten of the most important fulcrums) establishes a new, important, and very different type of self boundary.

Higher or transpersonal fulcrums (F-7 through F-9) will be dealt with in chapters 7 and 8.

Nonetheless, their own data clearly suggest that these are two very different stages or fulcrums of self development, the first referring to the differentiation of the physical self and physical environment (a physical boundary), the second to the differentiation of the emotional self and emotional environment (an emotional boundary).

But all orthodox researchers stop their research at either the fifth or sixth fulcrum, and ignore the transpersonal fulcrums (7-9).

At each of those fulcrums, the differentiation process can go too far into pathological dissociation, and that indeed is part of the pathology of modernity (the "bad news").

It develops, as we have seen, through nine (or so) major fulcrums of differentiation/integration (before fully recognizing Emptiness).

But even so, that covers only the first three fulcrums of a nine-fulcrum awareness.

Consequently, all of the other and significant fulcrums tend to get collapsed into the most fundamental fulcrum (F-0).

To say that in each of these cases development basically repeated the perinatal drama on a different level is simply to privilege the most fundamental fulcrum and try to make it explain the more significant fulcrums that followed upon it (hence the enduring danger of reductionism that is vigorously denied and nevertheless constantly embraced as explanatory).

The Fulcrums scattered before the twelve incoming missiles and dove for the ground.

I agree they're probably Fulcrums, and the sensible thing for Ivan to do is have the fighters establish a safe corridor for his bombers.

Six Fulcrums dove for the retreating Varks, whose protective jammers filled the sky with electronic noise.

The bombers were escorted in by tight groups of MiG-25 Foxbats, Su-21 Flagons, and MiG-29 Fulcrums, some with naval markings, others in the livery of neo-Soviet Frontal Aviation.

In seconds, MiG-29 Fulcrums were everywhere, sleek aircraft with twin stabilizers, clutching deadly pods of weapons beneath their wings.
