Freed.in was an annual free and open-source software (FOSS) conference held in New Delhi, India from 2007 to 2009.
Formerly known as Freedel, the event promoted freedom in technology and personal privacy in software and other related fields. The underlying theme behind the event was to make free and open source software more visible to the world, and share its excitement with everybody. It also aimed to help nurture the community and enable networking within and outside it in a fun environment, as well as seed new projects.
