In medicine, fasciitis is an inflammation of the fascia, which is the connective tissue surrounding muscles, blood vessels and nerves.

In particular, it often involves one of the following diseases:

  • Necrotizing fasciitis
  • Plantar fasciitis
  • Eosinophilic fasciitis
  • Paraneoplastic fasciitis
