Etamivan ( INN) or ethamivan ( USAN), trade name Analepticon, is a respiratory stimulant drug related to nikethamide. It was mainly used in the treatment of barbiturate overdose and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, but has now largely fallen into disuse.
