Dtella

Dtella is a free and open-source, peer-to-peer file-sharing client which is used to connect to a distributed, decentralized DC++ Direct Connect network. Dtella allows the creation of a file-sharing intra-net with decentralized communication between clients. This allows clients on the same network to share files without an internet connection allowing clients to avoid internet bandwidth limitations.

Dtella is pronounced "dee-tell-uh" and the name originates from the rough contraction of "DC++ GNUtella", a P2P system which shares a similar network structure to Dtella (although Dtella does not derive from it)
