Down the Road (Van Morrison album)

Down the Road is the twenty-ninth studio album by Northern Irish singer Van Morrison (see 2002 in music). The album has a nostalgic tone, lyrically and musically, and its arrangements mix R&B and blues with country and folk, and with a few exceptions, like "Georgia on My Mind," the music is most often rooted in 1950s and early 1960s popular music.

The album charted at #6 in the UK and #26 in the US, while consistently charting in the top 20 across Europe.

Down the Road (Manassas album)

Down the Road is the second and last album by Stephen Stills' band Manassas. It was released in 1973.

The album was not very well received. Rolling Stone was especially critical, saying "[i]t would be sad to think the people involved put this record out not because of business pressures but because they were proud of it." It only made it to #26 on the Billboard album charts and its single, "Isn't It About Time", only made it to #56 on the Billboard singles charts.

Down the Road (Mac McAnally song)

"Down the Road" is a song written and recorded by American country music artist Mac McAnally. McAnally has charted with the song on two separate occasions. The first of these two versions was released as the second single from his 1990 album Simple Life, and was a minor chart single for him that year. Eighteen years later, McAnally re-recorded the song as a duet with Kenny Chesney on Chesney's 2008 album Lucky Old Sun. This rendition is also McAnally's highest charting country hit, having reached Number One in February 2009.

Down the Road (Larry Stewart album)

Down the Road is the debut album of American country music artist Larry Stewart. It was his first solo release, as he had just left his role as lead singer of the band Restless Heart one year previous. The album was released in 1993 on RCA Records Nashville and it produced three singles for him on the Billboard country charts: "Alright Already" at number five, "I'll Cry Tomorrow" at number 34 and "We Can Love" at number 62. Also included is "When I Close My Eyes," later a number two hit in 1997 for Kenny Chesney.

Brian Mansfield of Allmusic rated the album four stars out of five, saying that he considered it more country than Stewart's work in Restless Heart.
