Dichloroacetylene (DCA) is an oily pyrophoric liquid chemical compound with the chemical formula C Cl. Its odor is sweet and "disagreeable". The compound is volatile at standard temperature and pressure and explodes on contact with air. It is a toxic compound. It displays nephrotoxic effects to rats, but not to humans. It can be made from the compound trichloroethylene. Dichloroacetylene is not soluble in water.
