Dhakar
The Dhakar (also known as Dhakad or '''Dhaker '''or Rajput or Kirar) are a community in India and are today considered by anthropologists to be a non-elite group. In the state of Chhattisgarh they have been designated since at least 2007 as an Other Backward Class in the Indian system designed to aid positive discrimination. They have been similarly classified in Madhya Pradesh and in Rajasthan since at least the 1990s.
