What is "dadri"

Dadri is a town city and a municipal board in Gautam Buddha Nagar District in the state of Uttar Pradesh, India. Dadri and surrounding areas of Dankaur, Sikandrabad was ruled by Gurjars of Bhati clan when Mughal power in Delhi started declining.

This small town received nationwide media coverage in 2015 due to a disturbing incident in form of 2015 Dadri mob lynching.

Dadri Vidhan Sabha constituency is one of the 90 Vidhan Sabha constituencies in Haryana state in northern India.
