CyrusOne

CyrusOne is an American public corporation that owns, operates, and develops enterprise-class, carrier-neutral data centers. CyrusOne is headquartered in Carrollton, Texas and operates 33 data centers across the United States, in the United Kingdom, and in Singapore. Their first data center was based in Houston in 2001.

Cincinnati Bell acquired CyrusOne in 2010 and then spun it out in 2013. Cincinnati Bell still owns 9.5 per cent of CyrusOne.

CyrusOne serves customers in a range of industries, including energy, oil and gas, medical, technology, finance and consumer goods and services. The company's customers include 173 of the Fortune 1000 companies and nine of the Fortune 20.

In May 2013, CyrusOne launched a national internet exchange, CyrusOne National IX, delivering interconnection between twelve of CyrusOne's data center facilities.

In April 2015, CyrusOne announced its acquisition of Cervalis, expanding the company's footprint into the Northeast.

In March 2016, CyrusOne announced its acquisition of the Aurora, IL data center of CME Group.
