Bulimus

Bulimus \Bu*li"mus\ (b[-u]*l[imac]"m[u^]s), n. [L. bulimus hunger. See Bulimy.] (Zo["o]l.) A genus of land snails having an elongated spiral shell, often of large size. The species are numerous and abundant in tropical America.
