Blerp
Blerp was a web annotation system, launched in 2009 by RocketOn, which allowed users to overlay text, images, videos and other widgets onto web pages for other Blerp users visiting the same page to view. This would allow users to start spontaneous discussions about websites. Like a number of other web annotation startups, it was unsuccessful.
