Bewdley (pronunciation) is a riverside town and civil parish in the Wyre Forest District of Worcestershire, England, along the Severn Valley a few miles to the west of Kidderminster and 22 miles south west of Birmingham. It lies on the River Severn, and at the time of the 2011 census had a population of 9,470. Bewdley is a popular tourist destination and is well known for its music scene, famous Bewdley Bridge designed by Thomas Telford, range of independent shops and high standard of educational provision at both secondary and primary levels. Bewdley is home to the Severn Valley Railway and the West Midlands Safari Park, both of which are sign posted on all motorways running through the midlands. The only secondary school in the town, The Bewdley School and Sixth Form Centre is recognised throughout the West Midlands as being one of England's top performing secondary schools and attracts a high percentage of students from outside the town.

Bewdley (UK Parliament constituency)

Bewdley was the name of a constituency of the House of Commons of the Parliament of the United Kingdom from 1605 until 1950. Until 1885 it was a parliamentary borough in Worcestershire, represented by one Member of Parliament; the name was then transferred to a county constituency from 1885 until 1950. Its MPs included the former Prime Minister Stanley Baldwin, who represented the seat from 1908 to 1937, and afterwards took the name of the constituency as part of his title when he was raised to the peerage.

Bewdley (St. Stephens Church, Virginia)

Bewdley is a historic plantation house located near St. Stephens Church, King and Queen County, Virginia. It was built in the third quarter of the 18th century, and is a large two-story, "L"-shaped brick dwelling. It has a hipped roof with a 20th-century modillion cornice. The front facade features an early 19th-century pedimented dwarf portico supported on four Tuscan order columns.

It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1978.
